On August in 2021 during the Obon, I went to Miyazawa in order to enjoy a hot spiring spot and my favorite food, ramen.
Things to do in Miyazawa
How long does it take to get there from Omiya Station?
You can reach Miyazawa for about an hour if you take a train and a bus. It costs only 810 yen. It’s really reasonable.
Ramen shop, Miyazawa-Lake
My plan is to go to Ramen shop, Miyazawa-Lake. It is one of the most popular ramen shops in the area.
I do not have a car, so I decided to take a train and a bus.
You can get there from Omiya Station for about an hour.
Take care of the bus schedule during Obon holiday. The timetable is different as usual.
When you get off the bus, you need to walk through the rural area.
You can find a shop. You cannot miss it since there are no other shops around here.
I ordered green onions miso ramen. It was great.

There is no option but walking. Enjoy walking and blow off the stress!
Miyawa Onsen Kiraku
The atmosphere is fantastic.
The price is a little bit higher than other hot spring spots. The price is around 1,000 – 1,600 yen. However, the experience is very good.
I loved the hot spiring outside. The quality of a hot spring is not bad.
You can enjoy a variety of hot springs and sauna.
Moreover, you can take a bedrock bath.
After that, you can enjoy reading mangas. Take a note. If you come here during holiday or weekend, you might not take a seat because this area is very crowded. I recommend you should come here on weekday if possible.
Metsa Village
Only three-minute walk from there, you can go to Metsa Village.
There are a lot of umbrella on the top.
There are many couples and families in the theme park. I should have visited this spot with somebody else.
You can see a big lake named Miyawa-Lake.

You can enjoy Miyazawa if you do not have a car. I wanna come here soon.
There is a ramen shop near here. I wanna go there next time.
