I visited Ramen Hayashi Da, located near the pond at Ikebukuro Station.
I went there at 11:45 on a Sunday, and about 70% of the seats were already occupied.

I ordered the ramen (soy sauce ramen) and a half portion of extra noodles.

The noodles were thin with a good firmness, and very delicious.

The soup was piping hot, so be careful of burns. It was rich with a strong soy sauce flavor. The quality was high.

The chashu and bamboo shoots were also delicious.
The best part about this restaurant was the customer service. Everyone was loud and clear, making for a very pleasant experience.
Next time I visit, I’d like to try a different type of ramen.
