I visited Tachikawa Mashimashi, a Jiro-style ramen inspired restaurant, located about a 6-minute walk from Tachikawa Station.
When I arrived there at 16:45 on a Sunday, it was almost fully occupied.
I ordered Mini Ramen (150g) for 900 yen.
At Tachikawa Mashimashi, when you order the mini ramen (with 150g of noodles), it comes with two quail eggs.
Usually, when I go to Jiro-style restaurants, I opt for 150g of noodles, but at Tachikawa Mashimashi, this amount felt slightly less than usual.
The taste of the noodles was slightly above average, and they had a somewhat softer texture.
The soup at Tachikawa Mashimashi is on the lighter side compared to other Jiro-style ramens.
I noticed some customers requesting a stronger flavor. The taste is a smooth tonkotsu (pork bone) soy sauce blend.
The pork chashu was quite delicious at Tachikawa Mashimashi.
However, the vegetables were disappointingly watery.
The quail eggs didn’t have any particularly distinguishing features.
My logs: 2023.11
I requested the free toppings of vegetables and fat in normal amounts, but next time, I plan to ask for less. Since 150g of noodles wasn’t enough, I’m considering opting for 200g on my next visit.
Next time i come here, i wanna try to eat Miso Ramen.
